The remastered version of the TV series sorts the episodes in the order they were produced. Remastered versions of the TV series, movies, and OVAs, titled Ranma ½: Digital Remaster Version ( らんま½ デジタルリマスター版, Ranma Nibun-no-Ichi: Dejitaru Rimasutā Ban ?) was made available on Blu-Ray Disc sets, Hulu, and Amazon. Viz re-ordered certain episodes when they released them on VHS and DVD. Their releases go back to November 2, 1993. Viz Media licensed the TV series, the Movies, and most of the OVAs. įourteen episodes were re-ordered - three episodes originally part of the initial Ranma broadcast were moved to Nettohen. Following its cancellation, it was brought back as Ranma ½ Nettōhen ( らんま½ 熱闘編, Ranma Nibun-no-Ichi Nettōhen ?, "Ranma ½ Crazy Battle Compilation"). The television series debuted on Fuji TV's "Teens Golden Time" block on Ap - it ran for eighteen episodes before being canceled. Everything was primarily animated by Studio Deen and all but the 12th OVA was produced by Kitty Films. Ranma ½ was adapted into 161 TV episodes, three movies, and twelve OVAs.
